eliminating the dark foresight
with a speckle of light

comes the rising sun
of new hopes

in its far fetched glory

the boulevard , the streets

to the beggar's plight

where children ignite

from the pitholes
of misery&penury

GLORY DAYS

Standing in the summer haze
the ever shining incandescent star
caught my gaze
as i saw it
i remembered those days
when we all shown bright
engulfing all the darkness
with our insight

the ineffable joys
now come back as memories
and how i wish i could
have stopped the inevitable

tears roll down
as i think of those

those innocent demeanors
